Mr Aman Singh was misdiagnosed as TB of spine at a peripheral center. Having taken ATT for a month he developed jaundice due the TB drugs..his inability to pass urine bro‎ught notice to his prostate problem which has enlarged to an extent that not even a drop of urine could pass through the normal course…A suprapubic catheter was done (a passage through the skin in the lower abdomen)..he developed aspiration pneumonia and also urosepsis with high spiking fever and landed in ICU…PSA was 8490 (ideally less than 4 ng/ml)…there was so much bony pains that he was unable to move in bed too…PSMA PETCT showed extensive bone mets and spread of cancer in each and every bone…it was then that oncology opinion was sought..Dr Singhal started his treatment and had confidence of treating him in this very condition..he could instill enough confidence in family when all other doctors had lost hope…He was managed with only hormonal therapy for cancer and Dr singhal optimized his supportive care by choosing right combination of antibiotics, nasogastric tube feeding, chest physiotherapy etc…that today Mr Aman is not only out of ICU…he came for his 2nd shot of hormonal therapy after amonth of 1st one.. when this picture was shot…and he is on his own feet..the tube that hangs from his nose is the nasogastric tube which was to be removed but Aman ji was a bit skeptical and wanted 1 more week..All this improvement happened within 1 month
